Fireworks — Privacy

The menu-bar and iOS apps for reading a Fireworks AI credit balance.

Short version: these apps have no server of their own, collect nothing about you, and send nothing anywhere except to Fireworks — with the API key you supplied, to read the balance and spending you asked to see.

What the app stores, and where

What leaves your device

Requests to Fireworks (api.fireworks.ai and gateway.fireworks.ai), authenticated with your key, asking for your account's balance, invoices and usage. Those requests are governed by Fireworks' own privacy policy. The apps make no other network requests.

What the app does not do

Notifications

If you turn alerts on, they are generated and delivered on your own device. No notification content leaves it.

The widget

The widget reads the same local reading file, through an App Group shared between the app and its widget extension on your device. Nothing about it is transmitted.

Children

The apps are developer tools, not directed at children, and collect no personal information from anyone.

Removing your data

Deleting the app removes its stored readings and settings. The API key is removed when you delete it in the app, or with the Keychain entry fireworks-app. You can also revoke the key at any time in your Fireworks account, which makes every copy of it useless.

Changes

If this policy changes, the change appears in this file's history in the public repository.
